I’m liking it more now that I’ve finished a chapter and know what to expect. In the second chapter, Ms Komachi gives Ryo San a cat. Can’t wait to understand why. She also brought a new perspective on dreaming about one day following a passion; it’s a marker of hope. So it shouldn’t be taken meaninglessly. Ms Komachi is now turning into my second favourite character

In the middle of the second chapter and I come across a gem - “One day when I have enough money saved up, I will quit my job, find somewhere to open a shop and curate the shelves … One day … But will one day ever come?” Don’t we all have that one passion we want to quit our jobs for? Just finished the first chapter. The boring, routine shared earlier, just turned into something special, more meaningful. I find it very relatable now. Tomoka San loves her life without knowing what to do next, or her purpose. She then comes across a book from her childhood - Guri and Gura, the story of two mice facing challenges. She makes a castella they suggest in the book; trying for 7 days, finally succeeding
