It's so common with stories about girls who are terrified their feelings for a female friend. It's really refreshing that we get an empathetic view from the other side, this time. Didn't think I'd say this, but everyone should have a friend like Nanaki. She may be harsh and clueless sometimes, but once she knows someone is hurting, she really does everything in her might to help.
