I genuinely think if you read kj charles' books backwards there would be some hidden brainwashing messaging because I cannot fucking stop reading the things. these books are my best friends and I need them to live.

when I find myself in times of trouble / mother KJ comes to me / speaking words of wisdom: / 'read me'

sometimes the dialogue in KJC's books takes me straight back to listening to my grandpa and great-uncles talk and it makes me so nostalgic for being little :( posh RP speakers... my secret heartstring-tugging weakness
