He is quite clearly a closeted atheist. His ideas on how to fix America were quite right but his failure to fully implement those ideas during his presidency remains a disappointment.

So far he has been very honest about the state of politics in America, role of money and fundraising, polarization and winner takes it all attitude of America. His mention of god and faith almost seems fake just like in his speeches but again, If you are an American who wants to make a place in politics, you need to sound and look religious to some level.
