This book is exactly what I wanted. His voice, his humor, his story. Unlike Kitchen Confidential, however, this book's first chapters are darker. Exploring more in-depth parts of Bourdain that always brewed just below the surface. If you’re a fan of Kitchen Confidential, Bourdain, or a mesh of restaurant/foodie zeitgeist (of the time of publishing) roasting, you’re going to like this book.
