Quirky, funny, sad feminist book about a female scientist in the 1950s and 1960s who is featured on a tv cooking show which is more like chemistry lessons. Although th story line seemed unrealistic at times, the book is very entertaining and a page turner. The voices in women’s heads for a male dominated workplace are very realistic.
