This is so good

When he spoke again, his voice was low. "You're so pretty. You really are. You are the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen. Do you know that?"

If she said yes, I do, she was a conceited harpy. If she shook her head and rebuffed the compliment, she was falsely modest, playing coy. It was fae-like trickery. There was no answer that wouldn't damn her.

DAMN AIN'T THAT REAL

I feel like this book will be the deciding factor for me on Ava Reid. I liked The Wolf and the Woodsman. I didn't like Juniper and Thorn, but I do think it's grown on me because I've thought about it.
