I’m like 20 pages in and at this point it seems just like a dick-measuring contest between authors and their ohh sooo interesting, intriguing childhood being ohh soo fascinated by books and big names and ohh who started reading classics the youngest! At this point it has a rlly classist aftertaste and it’s also just boring… whyy do I have to write a blog type thing ab this while I do love writing but thisss ugh

also why does it have so many good reviews (maybe I should finish before speaking) .. Like there are some authors I am interested to read about like Kamila Shamsie but that won’t make me forget about all the boring pretentious ppl I read about… y’all r just pretentious I don’t make the rules 🤷♀️
