This is one of those books that I've enjoyed rereading throughout the years. 1st time I read it in middle school, so about 1982. then as an audio book on a long trip with my kids about 2013. this time I found an old beat-up copy in a little free library. it felt like it was asking me to take it home. its from a school library and full of makes from previous readers and I libe that! but the last few pages are missing.
