This honestly continues to underwhelm. I'm a little torn between continuing to see if the end ties everything together into something useful or just putting it down since I have a nagging feeling that this isn't going to get any better.

Although the last couple of chapters have been an improvement over the rest (with one finally containing a proper case study), this has ultimately continued to be a disappointing slog. I just have three more chapters to go, so I do plan to see it through to what will probably be a bitter end.

While the third and fourth chapters still haven't had anything particularly helpful or even especially insightful to say, they have at least come across as a lot less whiny and the exploration around the topics of Leadership as well as Ingredients that are needed for success were at least reasonably thought-provoking.

The first two chapters of this have been kind of rough. I definitely understand the need to lay out the problem space, but the tone of this just comes off as being really whiny and I can't help but feel like these authors have just been "doing it wrong" since some things they describe don't line up with my experiences. Either way, I'm interested to see them get to the main body of their point.
