Good book! It reads like a history book. It has some epic stories and fairy tales within the history of middle earth. I was particularly fascinated by the creation of middle earth, the Eldar days, who was Morgoth, the origins of Sauron. I got all those answers and it was rewarding. But some parts I wasn’t very interested in and thought a little boring. Overall, I still recommend this for any LOTR fan.
