I didn't realize that Two Hawks had already left to return to his tribe at the end of the last book. Or maybe there's a small time jump between then and the start of this one. I was expecting a big goodbye scene. But hey, they're together again now! And Speaking Rain is back too!

Also, is Kaya kinda crushing on Two Hawks now? Could they marry in the future, being from different tribes? I wonder...
