Bias, is the word I need to remember when reviewing this book. The author is biased against everyone and thus becomes rather unreliable. I'm about 100 pages from the end of this book and apart from dates I don't trust a word that this author has typed.

I've mostly accepted the fact that this author seems to hate literally everyone involved in the war in Burma. But mentioning that one person was rumoured to be part of the LGBTQIA+ and then making reference to a deragatory joke is not sitting well with me at all. It's added nothing to the narrative being told and frankly is making me doubt the authors intent. 1 star automatically deducted.
