Make multiple copies on USB sticks and Portable Hard drives. For University Essay files, also use CDs as extra insurance. I lost everything due to a PC blowing up around 2010 without backing up.
But keeping personal copies of your stuff is the only guarantee - and don't give remote access. If you do - Cheaper to buy another laptop and change every password. Immediately.

Difficult listening - because I don't think I'm9 being sympathetic enough. This is irritating beyond belief. The bullying issue affected me deeply in the 70s and my children in the 2000s. I dealt with it the best I could at the time as a parent. So I'm trying to be nice. But it really is rather.....stupid.
The issue I have so far with this book is ' REMOTE ACCESS' I mean..really you stupid woman. Who allows that?
