Snake-Eyes.. Decent, not great... Surprised by how much I liked the Rock On? One, I saw somewhere there was a book where she explores Synners more and it may enter my thoughts because of this story... Just plain old confused about Tales of Houdini

Read the first story, "The Gernsback Continuum." It was very good. I was struck by the thickness of the text, which I wasn't particularly expecting from a short story in a cyberpunk anthology. There was anger by the protagonist of the future that was promised in the 30s never happened, and corporate references throughout. My primary complaint was that at times it felt like nothing was happening, but good salvo.
