Why am I 40% of the way in and soooo bored? 🥲 a bone to pick with Mass— “a vulgar gesture” is this book’s version of “shredded to ribbons” and it’s quite distracting. I’m surprised the editors didn’t pull back on it. Also, where’s the artistry from book 1 in building suspense with these two-faced characters? The writing is so blocky!
