Sooo, I guess I'll have to read "The Medici: Godfathers of the Renaissance" next, as I find this book way too sparse! But it's enjoyable and easy to get into, a great book to begin with.

And yes, we get it, the Medici men were exceptionally hidous and ugly. That made me laugh. But Lorenzo di Giovanni de'Medici (Lorenzo the Elder) looked mighty fine according to me!
