These Americans are just TORTURING this poor 300 year old ghost

He's trying to scare them again. Ths twins (who were the ones to throw the pillow) shot at him with pea-shooters, he gave "his celebrated peal of demonic laughter," and Mrs. Otis comes out to offer him a tincture for indigestion. This WHOLE family, except the daughter, is completely unbothered by this ghost and he's SO FRUSTRATED.

The ghost gets upset that he couldn't scare this guy, so he goes running through the house, screaming and moaning and howling, and one of Mr. Otis's kids (I'm assuming, it doesn't say who) opens their bedroom door, and THROWS A PILLOW AT THE GHOST.

"Never, in a brilliant and uninterrupted career of three hundred years, had he [the ghost] been so grossly insulted." Yeah I bet buddy. The GAL of these Americans!

The Child that Went with the Fairies: "[Bill's] little sister Peg, about a year older, and his brother Con, a little more than a year elder than she..."
So she's physically little right? Because how else can she be his little sister and a year older?

2/2...He tells her to tell them to donate them to charity. He and the girl start talking on a regular basis, about religion and God mostly. Sometimes people come just to watch her talk to him, since she's the only one who can see or hear him. And that's it. That's the whole story. Boring.

The Fate of Frank McKenna: guy goes hare hunting instead of to church before Christmas. His dad tells him if he goes he'll only come back as a corpse. He dies with his Bible covering his face. The hare he was hunting shows up at his funeral. He starts hunting this little girl at the house near where he died, just to tell her his friends are fighting over a pair of new pants he got right before he died...1/2
