Notes:
(1) I can't really get a grasp on whether Brian Holguin's been a net positive for the series.
- There wasn't a noticeable improvement in the writing, and the best issue last volume was actually written by McFarlane solo.
(2) Dwayne Turner takes over art from Greg Capullo for a couple issues.
- Not familiar with his work, but I'm guessing he's another McFarlane clone.

(1) Sarah Frost is blonde when Turner draws her but she's brunette in Capullo's issues.
- Yet another editorial oversight.
(2) We see the CNN/CNR anchor at the media scrum at the end!
- Now I need to see the other two talking heads out in the wild.
(3) The main arc more featured Sam and Twitch, not so much Spawn.
- I like it. More detective mystery, less hocus pocus.

(1) We see a lot of digital art here: coloring, panels and captions.
- I'm sure this was all super-slick and cutting-edge back in the day, but like early CGI, it all looks totally dated.
- I'm talking Sega Saturn level digital elements.
(2) Issue #76 is easily the best story since the guest writer issues from Volume 2.
- This book's been surprisingly good in general.
