I'm unsure why Ashen-Eye was present in the last chapter. At least he wasn't around for long. Lol!!

At first I thought it was a little overbearing that Elias came along on the wilderness/camping trip. But, considering that something pretty bad happened to one of the students, his presence was a good thing.

I liked the suspenseful ending.

One of the professors gave Alice advice about not overdoing it wrt her talents/skills and making reckless decisions wrt her skills. That was nice of the professor. 🙂

I learned more about Philomela at the beginning of the chapter and what I learned was pretty sad.

There isn't a lot going on with Chise rn. She's taking a cooking class at the college.

I'm glad that Elias is getting insight and information about people and their emotions from Adolf. That way he's getting more than one perspective about the feelings of people.

That chapter had a *LOT* of information. Perhaps a little too much for someone who feels draggy and tired rn.

Alice has every right to feel PO'd with Renfred. Poor girl. 😟

One of Chise's explanations to Elias became over-complicated. 😆 I'm glad that she corrected Elias by telling him that married couples can divorce because, yes, that can happen.

Chise and Elias are being very cute rn. ❤️

I feel bad for Alice because she's pretty annoyed with Renfred atm. 😮

Oh, yay. A chapter that has Cartaphilus/Josef in it. 🙄 *sarcasm*

I'm reading about Renfred and Alice's first encounter with the scumbag. 😑😮‍💨

I'm curious to learn more about why Alice's self esteem is so cruddy atm. Hopefully I'll learn more about that in the upcoming chapter.

Simon's social awkwardness is somewhat endearing.
