I use Confessions as a warm up in the mornings sometimes. :)

I can definitely see that being a great use of this text! So far, this has been the hardest and best read I’ve done in a while. I find myself frustrated by how slow I have to take it (selfishly wanting to move on to the next book) but I’m glad for not reading anything else at the moment and giving all my attention to this. I think that’s the only way I truly get what I need to out of it.

I feel that way about John Murray at the moment.
