if you're on page 90 you're probably seeing how he's the most 'Platonic philosopher' of all the Fathers, haha

i can definitely see that in the "discourse on the dead". but he seems to have a more traditionally christian view in "an oration on the holy pascha", where he talks of the resurrection of the body. i dont really see how he can reconcile that with the platonic preference for the immaterial soul. but what do I know?

he definitely baptizes his Platonism, in general, but it's kind of crazy how much he reminds me of Plotinus / Proclus and all those guys
