Capitalism universal history was more interesting as expected, still this was very dense compared to the 2 chapters before, didn't expect that. Into schizo analysis now!

Here we are deeply in the heavy water of (post)structuralism, now that is harder to digest I must say. I'm looking forward to how it resolves itself in capitalism, I finally got to this part just now. I feel like this effort to depict a universal history trough the lens of desiring-machines was a bit tiresome, forced and not that convincing, D&G wish they were, but can't be Foucault, it seems.

Definitely easier to read than Difference and Repetition, the difficulty is that here, D&G sometimes try to be voluntarily quite obscure / stylistically eccentric. I guess that's what made their success and their mystification. The psychoanalysis critique seems a bit excessive, like, we get it, I don't think we need that much of it. I think I finished that part so I'm happy. Still very interesting and good overall!

There is something very simple, same issue in Difference and Repetition, that would make its reading way easier and clear. Why is there no subtitle written for each sub-chapters even though those subtitles do exist in the table of contents at the end of the book? Did they forget? Almost no way. Did they do that so that we don't reduce the content of each sub-chapter to its subtitle? Idk but it's kinda annoying imo :/
