Reading this in the aftermath of the UK Supreme Court’s decision about processing asylum seeks in Rwanda - and just read the chapter which references Gaddafi’s detention centre in Libya. Extraordinary stuff.

It is well written so far. I appreciate the use of multiple narrators - “othering” the main character so we only see her through other’s eyes - making us complicit, and echoing our real world approach?
