Update: I have rarely, if ever, related to a character more than Lula (aside from maybe like Fanny Price) and I love her now.

this books trying to make me cry 😒

Lula is low-key me, but she annoys me half the time and the men are constantly creepily ogling her (even the old married man) 😭 I actually cringed at that part

idk if this makes sense, but i feel like im just reading this book, not feeling it... ya know what i mean?
