It's gotta be for a word count. In 6 pages we're told the following things 3xs each with a minimum of 1 paragraph per telling: he's ruthless, but has a warm side; he trusts no one, because childhood trauma; he does not want attachments; no one can manipulate or trick him; he likes beauty.

Pg 1 of Ch 1 and this book really said "the giant super yachts were too large to dock in port, except for ports large enough to handle cruise ships" are you trying to make a word count?
