Hal and Casey had a wonderful moment that got horrible after another second. However, two weeks later Hal got another chance to figure out what he wanted. That figuring out however came after Casey almost died from a bleeding Ulcer. Now on the mend from surgery I am hoping that staying with Hal will prove them both goodness and they can open up to each other. Hal has gotten the church to start opening up for Casey

I decided to re-read this book and I'm loving it so far like the last time. I want to hug Casey and at first wanted to beat some sense into Hal, but it is all working out now that Hal has gotten some of that sense knocked into him by Casey getting an ulcer from worrying so much.

I wish i could been there and hugged a younger Hal and told him that it wasn't his fault that his mom died. That was what he was told at 8 that he didn't believe hard enough so his mom died. The woman that raised him after her passing told him when he went to see her that his mom would have died anyway. Casey risked his life to save Hal thinking he was in the burning church building. This is a wonderful book.

I took a good two months and week off from reading to work on other things, but I am back and I am enjoying this book so much. Casey seems so sweet and Hal is a big softy on the inside i do believe. I just got to the part where Casey brought Hal Thanksgiving dinner in the freezing cold snow without gloves. I can't wait to see what happens with these two.
