I read this series ten years ago when my mom was sick - I read every single book within the series back to back for two weeks, the fastest I've read anything. On the ten year anniversary of my moms passing (8-13) I am starting to re-read the series. Great for research, too, as I'm working on a series of middle-grade novellas.
