Things are a bit rushed but... interested to keep reading anyway. Even though the book keeps mentioning how the heroine was/is a disappointment to her parents and is too pale and when she blushes it clashes with her hair and that she has a curvature of the spine... It makes her sound... unpleasant, unattractive, hard to believe that the hero finds her so irresistible.
