I may have made a mistake listening to this. There is a lot of timeline jumping and it is harder to keep track of listening. I also didn't realize that by "same world as Darker Shade of Magic", they basically meant sequel with some added characters. I wish I had read the other series more recently or refreshed my memory in some way before starting.
