Uhoh another messed up relationship and I am not sure I am comfortable with the plot for this one either. I too was blaming Steele for pushing Breezy away if he was so in love but knowing that she was underage back then I am not sure what other option he had. The territotial nature these MCs have in dark romances is something I absolutely hate. The conversation about pictures on his phone horrified me completely ngl

I am definitely not okay with how such deep issues that can never be cured by simply sex tend to be handled using exactly that in this series. It boggles my mind that instead of seeking professional help, the book promotes that Steele's issues were getting better just by being with Breezy. Also not a fan of all those steamy scenes spread generously throughout the book

I am so glad that Steele and Beezy got Zane back and are now working on building their family like it was always supposed to be but I am still afraid that the Swords might be back to take revenge. It was so scary when Candy said that she'd kill Zane if Breezy betrayed her dad, for a moment I thought surely Breezy wouldn't be able to escape the situation

OH boy no doubt Steele is going to rip apart the guys that have taken his little son and hurt Breezy in the past. Reading about all the trauma these group of characters have gone through in their lives is quite despairing which is why I guess I can never read these books in a single sitting. I have to take a break in order to keep my sanity.

Their shared history is making this a bit bearable tbh and also the fact that she is no longer a minor and fully capable of making her own decisions helps. I am curious to learn more about Steele's past and how he came about to become the Vice President of the Club. He has a rough journey ahead of him if he wants Breezy and Zane to become his family.
