Seraphine makes me laugh out loud. Leroi’s reactions too. I didn’t think this book would make me laugh as much as it does.
Seraphine is not some meek damsel in distress, nor some unaffected heroine. She’s traumatized, unhinged and an absolute badass.
Is this a dark book? Oh absolutely - am I loving the ride? Hell yes.
