Not quite sure what to say about this book but WTH! I didn't like the girl, I didn't like the guy, I didn't really like the story. I have it three stars because despite all that I was glued to it, it was like a train wreck!! I could not pull my eyes away from the absurdity of our "hero's" neanderthalic speech or behavior. I like the hot alpha male guy as much as the next girl but SERIOUSLY! Picture Christian Gray, then picture him a couple evolutionary jumps back. Combine that with the language I felt like I had taken a step down the evolutionary ladder too. Let's not even get into the "I'm your Daddy references" (shudder). Example: “Fuck yeah, my baby wants her Daddy," he growled. Then throw in the guys occupation. I really, really can't believe I'm giving this 3 stars! I'm hesitant to read the series I don't know how much more I can read of this series.
