I love Murderbot but this one has been hard for me to get through. I think I struggled to understand the setting (and the setting is really important in this). Also getting tired of EVERY character being a female. It stretches my disbelief. If gender isn't important, then make it not important. If it's important, then allow it to be. It's almost as though the author doesn't understand her own views of it.
