I have only read the prologue and my heart is already crying for our beloved, beautiful, strong boy. I’m so raging and full of hatred for Gina and Harry. I don’t think I’m strong enough to read this already knowing what’s to come.

The last few pages was literally painful to read, and yet so beautiful I read them extra slow. I felt their hopelessness and misery and my heart broke for the three of them. Even at 16, Alexander is the best of men. I love him more than ever.

Gina, you rather go to Russia and see your son get killed by Stalin than divorce your lunatic husband? Stupid woman. I feel no remorse.

Call me a horrible person, but I don't feel any compassion for either one of them. Only for Alexander.

I didn't think it was possible, but Harry's stupidity has reached new levels.

And I was JUST starting to like Harry, but it's clear to me now that he's doomed...

I've got a feeling that the good times soon will be over.

amica mia, mia bella. Harry is redeemed for now. But too soon the politics will poisen him again..:(

I'm sorry to say this, but Harry is such a damn, selfish, insufferable fool I ALMOST think he deserves what coming to him. But my heart bleeds for Gina and not-yet-born Alexander. What a tragedy...
