Probably DNFing here, I'll see how I feel when my loan runs out. Really disappointing sharp pivot into a dragging story of trying to redeem a very mid evil man. Not sure why this was heralded as queer other than a thin lust plot?

I am savoring this book like a good drink. Also, drinking, but separately. This though, this book makes you declare yourself early and pick sides, which I find so many books in this genre fall just short of. I want a book that tells me the values it expects of me rather than offer me options of various tooth size and shape. I want the biggest sharpest most threatening maw :)
