i had to skip 'ladies, start your engines', the first story in this book by kimberly raye. the main character was so painfully a 'not like other girls' girl, a 'i'm super gorgeous without trying but i don't know it' kinda girlie. i already lived through a 'not like other girls' phase. if i wanted to experience that immaturity again, i'd just read my diaries from 2008. couldn't get past 20 pages. dogwater.
