Wow - Shane is an asshole, badass, jerk and I love him. He may be all of those things, but he isn't cruel...and he does care for Cassie even if he doesn't realize it yet. The fact he hasn't slept with anyone else makes this story - some may say that's not realistic, but it is. He has been extremely busy with the SEALs and even though he loves hook-ups, sex doesn't control him, he controls sex. Love this so far.

This started out so great, I was loving it. But now, as it progresses, it's missing something. Not sure what, just seems to be a steady road downhill. Very disappointing.

This is going downhill fast. Cassie is the type of heroine I hate, she swears in her head she will stand up for herself and then Shane touches her and she swoons and suddenly loses her backbone. So freaking pathetic. I swear it's too much to ask for a heroine that isn't controlled by her libido. Fine, fuck him all you want (I'm reading romance so hey, sex is a good thing) but don't be a damn doormat about it.
