That was a lot of action towards the end. I did not end up loving it honestly because it became too ritualistic for me to enjoy the story but it was good enough for a one time read. The soul consumption spell on Alex sounds so dangerous and I hope she finds a way to get rid of it before her soul is taken away completely. I am eager to see what has Coleman planned that is taking so much preparation, the women being killed in a weird way is kinda scary ngl. Death kissing Alex scene made me a bit uncomfortable, I hope that does not turn into a romance

The fact that Cole is changing bodies as if they are clothes is very intriguing and I am curious to learn whose body he has occupied next. Seems like Alex has landed herself in a pickle since it was revealed that she was involved in the Coleman case. Falin is really bothered by her but I can also see a budding romance between the two. Excited to see what developments would the charity dinner bring forth

This makes for an interesting premise and I am intrigued by Alex’s capabilities. The book dove right into action with someone trying to kill Alex probably for simply realising that Coleman’s body was enchanted. This makes me wonder if there is a mole somewhere in the police department. In any case, i am eager to see if there’s a romantic angle in there somewhere between Alex and her nemesis looking Andrews
