I wanted to like this because I love Chris Colfer but the writing just wasn't good at all lol.

I like it so far lol. Its definitely a kids book.

Yeah, it wasn't bad for a kids book. I just wish it had been a bit more enjoyable for adults as well. I didn't hate it, just found the writing quite flawed & kind of annoying in some parts. You'll probably notice what I'm talking about. There are sentences that are just worded totally wrong & don't even make sense lol.

I definitely see what you're saying. it got kind of clichéd and a but redundant, but for what it was, I enjoyed it.
