I mean, you have to hand it to the book: for YA paranormal, a love triangle where 2/3 people are yourself is quite a novelty. Not as big of a novelty as NO jealous musings, but close.

I think I'd buy into this attempt at the "school-friends-turned-arch-nemeses" concept a lot more had I not read Vicious. And had I not witnessed it in Clark and Lex far more convincingly. YOU'VE RUINED ME, SUPERHERO READS!
