The beginning scene when Stephen wakes up in the hotel. I was hooked. I loved it. Like Stephen, I’m curious to know what happened. There are a couple of scenes were I’m not for sure if the writer wanted reiterate specific moments and details with the readers, but I found them repetitive. I also thought that the scene in the hotel was drawn out.

Absolutely amazing how the main character slowly reveals himself through the book. His expertise is wow. When he whispered to Ryan in the living room, it was like I could hear them my ear. No joke.

Made it 162 and I am sold with the authors style of writing. You know you would peeI a potato or an orange and you would have the one piece that would stay connected? Well that was how the main character worked his way through the book. I loved how the plot is peeled away each layer of the suspense and thrillers to the story.

I’m on chapter 19 and I think I have figured out why our main character is in Vegas. Very cheeky to the writer. I am totally thrilled that I stuck it out during the hotel scene. Eugene crying abut his computer I thought was comical.

What in the name of Ethan Matthew Hunt happened after that slap? It was like the slap heard around the world. Y’all I may finish this book tonight. Sutton and Ortiz? WTH? So far I’m enjoying the book and how Walker is developing through the suspense. Two thumbs up , maybe from me.

With an intense scene such as that, you would think that Stephen should be more in a panic state. More confused maybe. I would think that he would have more raw passion, or even shock to what he has uncovered in the bathroom. I have to say that the scene with the maid Maria was a plus. I could imagine what the characters were feeling and seeing during these interactions.

Reading the book from the beginning has got me very interested in the rest of the book. The writer has a great imagination into this intriguing book.
