Better or worse than the movie?

I liked how the book was spookier and coralline is a bit more aware of the other world being wrong. I feel like the real world is made to look so much more boring and frustrating for her. It’s so impactful that she wants to escape to a fantasy world even with all the rising tension going there

They’re both great though!
