The induction of this book has been interesting and has so far lead into individual testimonies about the success of Carnegie’s course. While I think this book addresses issues that I don’t worry about as much, I feel that I can still progress in my public speaking and learn to accept that I don’t know everything. I have plenty to learn from this man regardless of his goals.

So far, the book is emphasizing the need for determination to improve my speaking skills. It has also reminded me to envision myself in the successes gained from improving my skills to attain this will to succeed. I have to see myself in places I deserve to be, then plan a positively minded path for conquering :)
