Edward’s origin story. Supposedly his birth mother died in Arkham… this is a story of a kid who could have become a wonderful force for good in society if only anyone believed in him. Thomas Wayne was the closest Edward came to a light in the darkness, and then he was quickly snuffed out. I guess that makes his role in Renewal and the murder of that reporter even more hurtful to Edward… Paul Dano is brilliant.
