the second mediation was more understandable and enjoyable than the first. I particularly like what he wrote about the candle, what we think we know about it, what we think how we know about it, what can be known, etc. i like descartes' particular philosophy of doubting everything, it's very convincing and timeless and well portrayed and explained up to this point.

The first mediation was pretty much what I had already known about Descartes thoughts. It was relatively comprehensively written. While I did not understand point 10, point 11 was especially impressive. I will see whether I can find more on 10 as it was about atheists which I was interested in

99,9% read in german for I CANNOT read latin. Working on translating tho. Need this for my fucking philosophy course at uni. Latin is pretty swaggers but only if it stays far away from you. my humble opinion.
