I review books based on my mood. Is that unfair to the author? Should I start the New Year off only reviewing books I finish? Perhaps.
I base so many of my reviews on how a book makes me feel, so I'm torn on whether I should continue reviewing this way. In the end, does it matter? Not to me, but maybe it does to the author. Is that my problem? Not really.

I know how you feel. I’m reading some objectively not terrible books, but I’m just not in the mood for them right now. I don’t want to send or lower my rating, so I’m pretty much just marking them as “on hold” for when I’m in the mood to read them. I feel like I have to adopt the attitude that’s it’s ok to have them on hold or even never come back to them at all.

Same, I have a "already own" shelf, but so far I haven't revisited any of them lol!
