This volume picked up at the end and I liked the cliffhanger ending. There seemed to be a plot twist at the end too.

There was a lot going on in that chapter.

The dynamic between Elias and Alcyone is interesting. They seem similar to each other in some ways and different in others.

There were some interesting interactions between certain characters in this chapter. 🤔 I'm glad that Rian wants to apologize Philomela for being so damn rude to her.

The first chapter had an engaging beginning, but I can't handle reading info dump when I'm tired. 😅
