We must say that Christendom is never-ending, insofar as Christ is never-ending. At the same time, I must insist that Christendom must be mourned, insofar as clergy and laity alike apparently spurn a comprehensive Christian culture and community, opting instead for the compromises and blandishments of the world.

Have we really been doing so well that we can treat the Holy Order of the Logos as dispensable? Do we really think we are succeeding without Christ?

As a fish fully immersed in water, so was the Christian immersed in Christendom.

What is a "Post Post-Christian era?". Since 1789, a great deal of ink and blood have been spilled to demonstrate that we are all better off individually and collectively without Christ. Some 230 years later, that assertion is getting harder and harder to maintain. I can say with confidence that the "post-Christian world" just is not working.
