I'll say it again Crenshaw's writing is bar-none the best of any of the bodice-rippers that I have ever read. It's fluid, yet highly descriptive and emotive. I mean even bodice-ripper aside, the writings really well done. I can't believe more people in the historical romance and bodice-ripper community don't sing her praises more. I'm really, really surprised her books aren't more popular.

Not as great as Spellbound and Edin’s Embrace. Kind of slow after the initial meet up. I think I’m enjoying it less bc I’m just not that into westerns.

I wish I could find an e-copy of this!!
Right, I think that’s part of why she’s not more popular, no e copies. I got my paperback from thrift books for pretty cheap though, so it wasn’t too bad.
